Meet Nan Walker, M.S., Ph.D.
Ph.D. in Counseling | Speaker, Mentor, Guide
As a professional counselor, my focus has always been on growth and change. I believe that people can move to a healthier way of living through counseling and spiritual growth.
After receiving a Ph.D. in counseling Psychology from Duke University, I practiced as a psychotherapist in Charlotte for over 40 years. My experience as a counselor has given me organic material as a speaker in the areas of mental health, psychology, and spirituality. My approach is both practical and compassionate blending professional knowledge with real life experiences.
My faith is a valuable resource that informs my work. I use my own journey to call others to grow in healthy, meaningful ways. My talks are practical, down to earth and inspiring.
Having worked in Korea and traveled extensively in Asia and Europe, I am comfortable speaking and connecting with people from all socioeconomic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds. My goal in speaking is to provide valuable information, inspire, and encourage healthy growth and change.
Matthew 12:34: "Out of the heart the mouth speaks."
